In Greece, there are currently 19 marinas with 6,661 berths, offering high-quality services. Several of these marinas have been awarded the “European Blue Flags” program. In recent years, the Greek National Tourism Organization and some of the country’s 13 administrative regions have implemented a program to create a comprehensive network of anchorages and related services for boats along the Greek coast, a program that is currently in the final stages of completion.
New modern marinas, hotel ports and anchorages for the safe docking of boats are already operating or are gradually being put into operation, in order to meet the needs of tourists arriving in Greece by sea in the most satisfactory way and under the safest conditions.
